Citroen all set to launch C5 Aircross in India, know specs and features

French auto manufacturer Citroen is all set to launch its first product in the Indian market.

Citroen was supposed to launch C5 Aircross much before but pandemic happened, and the launch got postponed. C5 Aircross is a premium segment SUV and will be priced around Rs. 28 lakh in India.

The car will be launched in March 2021.

The Indian Citroen C5 Aircross is expected to get a 2.0-litre diesel engine which is capable of producing 177 PS of power and a healthy 400Nm of peak torque.

The diesel engine will be mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission gearbox. 

Citroen has claimed average fuel efficiency of 18.6 km per litre for the C5 Aircross.

Citroen C5 Aircoss will be offered in seven color schemes which include three dual-tone colour variants with a black finished roof.

The colours offered are Pearl White- White with Black roof, Cumulus Grey- Grey with Black roof, Tijuca Blue- Blue with Black roof and Perla Nera Black.

The car gets LED lights at the front and at the rear with DRLs.

The Citroen C5 Aircross gets a host of features on the inside. The cabin is spacious and gets an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen system which supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The car gets a huge 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and also gets all the bells and whistles with wireless charging.

The car offers an ample amount of storage spaces and also gets many bottle holders.

The car also gets cruise control.

Citroen C5 Aircross gets a powered driver seat with multiple adjustable options. The driver as well as the front passenger seats get cooling functions. The car gets engine start-stop button.

The car gets dual-zone climate control and gets a big panoramic sunroof. The car gets Tyre Pressure Monitor and Rear windshield defogger.

The seats are wide and supportive, they provide a stable ride.

Citroen C5 Aircross gets 6 airbags which include 2 in front, 2 at the sides and 2 curtain airbags.

The car gets blind-spot monitor, ISOFIX child seats anchorage, electric parking brake, traction control with modes such as Standard, Snow, Sand, All (Mud, Damp, Grass).

The car offers front and rear parking sensors along with a rear parking camera.

The car gets electronic stability, hill assist and hill descent feature. The car has various sensors which give Driver tiredness warning.

The car offers three-rows of seating and the last row can be folded so as to create more space for the storage.

The Citroen C5 Aircross offers 580-litres of boot space and 720-litres of boot space when seats set forward.

The car offers great value for money and gets all the bells and whistles.

Citroen being a new entrant in India, will need to work upon creating a network of showrooms and service points in order to get success in the Indian car market.
