EPFO UAN Aadhar ELI Scheme Benefits: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman introduced the Employment Linked Incentive (ELI) scheme during the Union Budget 2024 in July, comprising three variants: A, B, and C.
The scheme aims to support first-time employees joining the workforce, boost job creation in the manufacturing sector, and assist employers in promoting hiring and retention. Benefits under the ELI scheme will be provided to eligible employees via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

To avail benefits of the Employment Linked Incentive (ELI) scheme, beneficiaries must activate their Universal Account Number (UAN) and link their Aadhaar details to their bank accounts, as mandated by the government.
Deadline: November 30, 2024:
This mandatory process must be completed by November 30, 2024, to qualify for ELI scheme benefits.
How To Activate Your UAN To Get ELI Benefits?
Step 1:
Go to the EPFO member portal: https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/.
Step 2:
Click on the ‘Activate UAN’ link under the ‘Important Links’ section.
Step 3:
Enter your UAN, Aadhaar number, date of birth, and Aadhaar-linked mobile number on the new webpage.
Step 4:
Click ‘Get Authorization PIN’ to receive an OTP on your registered mobile number.
Step 5:
Enter the OTP to complete activation. Your password will be sent to your registered mobile number.
