Late Virgil Abloh-designed Project Maybach all-electric concept is a head-turner - In pics

The Project Maybach gets traditional straight lines and sharp edges just like other Maybach cars along with two-tone black-and-tan paint scheme. 

The front gets silver skid plate and brush guard to protect the upright front fascia, with a large vertical grille.

The rear has a skid plate, a brush guard, and a flat fascia with round taillights.

“Mercedes-Benz is devastated to hear of the passing of Virgil Abloh,” the automaker said in a statement. “Our sincere thoughts are with Virgil’s family and teams.”

Mercedes-Benz will showcase the one-off vehicle at the Rubell Museum which has been opened in honour of Abloh. 

Other interesting styling bits include the ax embedded into the door jam or the box embedded at the end of the dashboard.

The seats can be folded completely flat, which should make sleeping out in the wilderness easy, matching the whole outdoor theme of the vehicle.
