Mercedes-AMG has unveiled the much-awaited Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance coupe a few days ahead of its grand premiere at the Munich show.

Powering the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance is a 4.0-litre bi-turbo V8 engine, which is one of the most powerful car engines. Mercedes-AMG claims that the engine is capable of churning out a maximum power of 630 bhp and 900 Nm of peak torque.
Coupled with the electric motor, the engine can give a peak power of 831 bhp and 1470 Nm of maximum torque. The engine is connected with a 9-speed automatic gearbox.

AMG GT 63 S E Performance packs a 6.1 kWh battery which ensures continuous power output of 70 kW. The coupe can also run a mere 12 km on its electric battery, which is packed for performance, not milage, the carmaker suggests.
