AB de Villiers' late fireworks powered RCB to a memorable 7-wicket win over Rajasthan Royals. De Villiers finished at 55* off just 22 balls. Gurkeerat Mann gave him good comapany in the end, remaining unbeaten on 19 off 17 balls. 

De Villiers wrapped up the victory for his side with a huge six off Jofra Archer. He was also awarded the man of the match award for a thrilling knock.

AB de Villiers and Gurkeerat Mann took to the crease after the two quick wickets. It was left to the South African to rescue a victory for his side. The seasoned De Villiers was certainly up to the task with a majestic knock of 55 off 22 balls (4x1, 6x6) as he powered his side to a 7-wicket victory. 

With 35 needed from last two overs, De Villiers hit three consecutive sixes off Jaydev Unadkat's penultimate over of the innings to turn the tides in his side's favor.

Miracle man turned the match in his side's favor with a first his bowling and then with his fielding.

Padikkal was dismissed by Rahul Tewatia on the final ball of his spell. Padikkal made 35 off 37 balls. 

Virat Kohli was then dismissed by youngster Kartik Tyagi on the very next ball off the game. After taking the wicket on the previous ball, Tewatia took a wonderful catch at the deep midwicket fence. Kohli had whipped the ball but Tewatia stopped the ball, leaps over the boundary and then hops back inside to complete a thrilling catch.

Padikkal and skipper Virat Kohli stitched a crucial 79-run stand for the 2nd wicket. The duo did well to rotate the strike and digged deep to keep their side in the game. 

The partnership was finally broken when Rahul Tewatia removed Padikkal. Padikkal made 35 off 37 balls.

Chasing 178 to win, Aaron Finch departed early in the fourth over after making just 14 runs. 

Finch was dismissed by leggie Shreyas Gopal. He tried to go for the slog sweep but ended up slashig the ball straight up. Robin Uthappa completed the catch at mid-off.

Finch was looking very good - he had hit Archer for two wonderful sixes in the previous over and would have been disappointed after getting out on a rash shot.

Rajasthan Royals posted a handsome total of 177/6 againsr Royal Challengers Bangalore 

While Robin Uthappa did wonderfully well to provide a good start to Rajasthan, Steve Smith led from the front with a fighting fifty. 

Chris Morris was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 4-0-26-4. Chahal also did well with a spell of 4-0-34-2 even though he gave away 18 runs in his final over.

Chris Morris bowled en excellent spell where he finished with figures of 4-0-26-4. Morris gave RCB the opening breakthrough when he dismissed Stokes. He followed it up by breaking the dangerous partnership of Buttler and Smith - removing the Englishman. 

Morris, bowled a fantastic final over where picked-up two wickets in that over and gave away just four runs.

Steve Smith came back to form with a gritty knock of 57 (off 36 balls; 4x6, 6x1). Smith's return to form bodes well for Rajasthan for the latter stages of the competition. 

Wonderful innings, it was from him. Took sometime to get set and then started to go for his shots. He hit three fours of the clever Chahal's final over to give an excellent account of himself. 

His innings powered Rajasthan to a handsome total of 177-6.

After losing three quick wickets, skipper Steve Smith and and Jos Buttler took to the crease. The experienced duo stitched together a crucial 58-run stand in the middle overs - tackling the excellent spin bowling from Chahal, Ahmed and Sundar. 

The partnership was finally broken when Buttler departed after making 24.

Yuzvendra Chahal brought RCB right back into the game by removing the dangerous Robin Uthappa and Sanju Samson off consecutive balls. 

Chahal, RCB's most dependent bowler, finished with figures of 4-0-34-2 as he tightened the screws around Rajasthan in the middle overs.

In a surprising move, Robin Uthappa was sent in to open the innings alongside Ben Stokes. The decision proved unerring as Uthappa was magnificient on the day making 41 off 22 balls. 

In the third over of the innings he hit 4 fours in an over off the wily Washington Sundar. Stokes played second fiddle to him, rotating the strike well. 

The partnership was finally broken when Stokes was caught behind off Morris. The duo enagaged in a solid 50-run opening stand.

Rajasthan Royals won the toss and opted to bat first at Dubai. 

Royal Challengers Bangalore made two changes to their playing XI after having lost in their last outing against Kings XI.  They brought in Gurkeerat Mann in place of Mohammad Siraj while Shahbaz Ahmed made his debut in place of Shivam Dube.

Rajasthan Royals won the toss and opted to bat first at Dubai.

Rajasthan Royals played with an unchanged XI  - the same from their loss against Delhi Capitals. Rajasthan had performed better in their last two games - boosted by the return and presence of Ben Stokes. 

They had put a full-stop to their string of four consecutive losses and won their penultimate game.
