Veteran India batter Shikhar Dhawan holds the record for scoring the fastest century on Test debut. Dhawan made a century in just 85 balls in his debut Test against Australia in 2013.

Australia's wicketkeeper batter Josh Inglis smashed a brilliant century on his debut game against Sri Lanka in Galle. He took just 90 balls to reach the three-figure mark.

Former West Indies batter Dwayne Smith made his Test debut in 2004 against South Africa in Cape Town and he made it memorable by scoring a century in 93 balls.

India’s star batter Prithvi Shaw made a century in 99 balls in his debut test against West Indies.
