Farhan Akhtar starrer Bhaag Milkha Bhaag is one of the best sports-based films in Bollywood. Based on Milkha Singh's life, the movie earned ₹2.1 billion. 

Based on the Indian cricket team's historic World Cup win in 1983, Ranveer Singh's movie earned Rs 193 cr at the box office. 

A small-town boy helps India win World Cup after 28 years. The story in itself is heartwarming. The movie was released in 2016. 

 

The movie is based on India's best boxer ever - Mary Kom. Priyanka Chopra was the lead actress in the biopic. 

Biopic of Mahavir Singh Phogat, who taught wrestling to his daughters Babita Kumari and Geeta Phogat. Geeta Phogat was India's first female wrestler to win at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, where she won the gold medal (55 kg) while her sister Babita Kumari won the silver (51 kg).
