This south Indian film minted more than Rs 50 crore at Box Office on Day 1

New Delhi: Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu's latest film 'Spyder' opened with a bang at the Box Office. Not only in India, but the AR Murugadoss directorial is being highly appreciated by the cinema lover from across the globe.

You will be amazed to know that the flick minted more than Rs 50 crore on day one. Yes, you read that right! Indian movie industry tracker Ramesh Bala on Thursday took to Twitter to confirm the same. 

"Team #SPYder announces official Day 1 WW collections.. 51 Cr," he posted on the microblogging website along with a special poster.

Spyder, which also features Rakul Preet Singh and SJ Suryah in prominent roles, Mahesh Babu plays an Intelligence Bureau officer. It is said to be made on a lavish budget of approximately Rs 120 crore.
