New Delhi: The ongoing Pakistani Cup has already seen its fair share of controversies with the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa team being at the centre of it all.
After Younis Khan abandoned the team in the middle of the tournament, Ahmed Shehzad was handed the captaincy.
While the right-hander appears to be in good form with the bat, he was reported to have lost his cool in the dressing room during the match against Balochistan.
After failing to complete his ton, the opener is alleged to have smashed the dressing room’s window in a fit of anger.
According to media reports, Shehzad was involved in an argument with on-field umpire after being dismissed for 79.
The 24-year-old felt that the fielder did not take the catch cleanly.

“Whatever happened was purely accidental. I threw the bat in my kit bag which ricocheted and struck the glass. The glass didn’t break, it just cracked,” Shehzad told The Express Tribune.
