New Delhi: Even though Virender Sehwag played several sensational knocks in his 16-year-old career, here are five knocks which are most talked about.

309 vs Pakistan: This knock will be his finest as he became the first Indian to score a triple ton in Tests. Sehwag achieved the feat in his own style as he launched Pakistani spinner Saqlain Mushtaq for a Six to enter the history books.

319 vs South Africa: It was another Viru special as he scored the fastest triple ton off just 278 balls. Sehwag battled in heat against South Africa's quality pace attack comprising Dale Steyn, Morne Morkel and Makhaya Ntini.

219 vs WI in ODIs: If there was one batsman who was expected to score a double ton in ODIs, it was Virender Sehwag. Sehwag was involved in a 176-run partnership with Gautam Gambhir for the first wicket and went on to smash 25 boundaries and seven sixes. Sehwag became the first skipper to score a double ton in ODIs.

195 vs Australia: Sehwag earned massive respect from the cricketing fraternity for his fabulous ton against Australia at Melbourne. He took just 233 balls for his 195 runs and was dismissed as he tried to bring up his maiden double century in Tests with a big stroke.
