Injury woes for Chelsea: Eden Hazard limps off Crystal Palace match

New Delhi: Chelsea's season of woes aggravated further on Sunday with Eden Hazard facing a possible long injury lay-off.

The Belgian was replaced as early as the 16th minute into their Premier League clash against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

Hazard sustained the groin problem while attempting a shot. He was replaced by Pedro.

The 24-year-old was voted Footballer of the Year after helping Chelsea to the Premier League title last season.

However, his poor form has resulted compounded Chelsea' predicament this season.

Despite the set-back, Chelsea registered a comfortable 3-0 win in the London derby, with Brazilians Oscar, Willian and another Brazil born Diego Costa scoring.
