Wimbledon 2016: Sania Mirza-Martina Hingis in quarterfinals; Bopanna-Mergea out

London: Top-seeded pair of Sania Mirza and Martina Hingis on Monday crushed Christina Mchale and Jelena Ostapenko 6-1 6-0 to move into the quarterfinals of Wimbledon.

It took SanTina mere 46 minutes to overpower the American-Latvia combination in the third round contest to reach the next level.

During the match, defending champions - Sania and Martina - broke their rivals five times and saved two chances they faced in the match.

However, pair of Rohan Bopanna and Florin Mergea lost a marathon third round to 10th seeds Henri Kontinen and John Peers and ruled out of the Wimbledon Championships.
