Cyclone Jawad: Depression to intensify into Cyclonic storm during next 12 hrs

The deep depression over west-central adjoining southeast Bay of Bengal will intensify into a Cyclonic Storm during the next 12 hours. IMD revealed that cyclone Jawad will reach north Andhra Pradesh-Odisha coast by Saturday morning.

Cyclone Jawad: Odisha government issues guidelines, puts 14 districts on alert

The State Government said they are well prepared to deal the emerging situation 14 coastal districts have been put on alert. The authorities have planned to deploy total a 266 teams which includes NDRF, State Fire Services and ODRAF. PM Modi chaired a high-level meeting on Thursday afternoon to review the preparedness of States and Central Ministries.
