Mumbai: Sonarika Bhadiria, best known for essaying Parvati is super hit TV show Devon Ke Dev Mahadev featuring Mohit Raina, is back on the small screen after a hiatus of 5 years. The pretty girl, who had reportedly quit the show midway to try her luck in films, will soon been seen as princess, Mrinalvati in new TV show Prithvivallabh.
Bhadoria took to Instagram to share her excitement about being a part of the show.
She posted: “#PRITHVIVALLABH
I am completely intrigued by this new chapter of my life that has allowed me to experience a wondrous amalgamation of wisdom and madness both at the same time.
A year of blood, sweat, tears, joy, learnings, thrills and exhilarations! A baby of ours which is now ready to be shared with the world.
Through this show, we have a beautiful message to give to the world, ‘GIVE SO MUCH LOVE, IT HAUNTS THE HATE IN OTHERS.’
Hoping you all love and enjoy the show as much as we do (sic).”
According to a report in DNA, the character of Mrinalvati tempted her to return to TV. She said, “I am an action movie buff and have grown up watching such films. The feminist in me dreamt of doing such roles and it’s very rare that a woman gets to play a skillful warrior, have her mind set on politics and rule a kingdom. At the same time, she is pretty and feminine, which is a lethal combination.”
She has been paired opposite hottie Ashish Sharma, who had earlier played Lord Rama in Siya ke Ram. Talking about her chemistry with Sharma and the equation they share on screen, she said, “So far, everybody on the sets is liking our chemistry. He is a wonderful co-actor and since he is senior, I get to learn a lot from him. Ours is a love-hate kind of relationship — love on his side, hate and revenge from my side. It’s a story about contradictory people coming together.”
After quitting Devon Ke Dev Mahadev, Bhadoria did a few south Indian films and a Hindi one titled Saansein. But the films didn’t do well.
Here’s wishing Sonarika all the best for Prithvivallabh.
