Sudarsan Pattnaik’s sand art will inspire tourists to visit Odisha

Mumbai: Padma Shri awardee Sudarsan Pattnaik’s latest sand art is a tribute to his home state of Odisha – the beautiful eastern coastal part of India. The sand artist’s creation aims at welcoming tourists to the state.

The sand art depicts the famous Chakra of the Konark Sun Temple, the face of an Odissi dancer and the face of a tribal woman.

Odisha is endowed with nature’s beautiful creations and is home to a number of ancient monuments and architectural geniuses. Besides these, Odisha is the land of Lord Jagannath, one of the most divine destinations in the country.

Pattnaik, who himself hails from this stunning state, recently created a world record with the Guinness Book for building the tallest sand castle.
