Uttar Pradesh: Four die after consuming illicit liquor

The bodies of the victims have been sent for postmortem to ascertain the exact cause of the death.

Azamgarh: Four persons died in a village in Raunapar area after allegedly consuming illicit liquor, police said on Friday.

Subri Paswan (35), Keshav (45), Shivkumar (18) and Shyamjeet (18) died yesterday night in Kewatihaya village, Superintendent of Police Ajay Kumar Shahni said.

During initial probe it was found that all four had consumed 'tadi' (country-made liquor) after which they died.

The bodies of the victims have been sent for postmortem to ascertain the exact cause of the death.
