In a clear sign of a possible cabinet reshuffle, Thaawarchand Gehlot, Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment, has been appointed as the new Governor of Karnataka. According to a Rashtrapati Bhavan release, the new appointments will be effective from the date when the newly appointed persons assume charge of their new office.
