Maruti Swift became the best-selling car in May 2024 with 19,393 units sold, pushing Tata Punch to second spot.
With a significant growth of 70%, Tata Punch sales increased from 11,124 units in May 2023 to 18,949 units in May 2024.
Maruti Dzire also performed well with a 42% increase in sales, reaching 16,061 units in May 2024.
Hyundai Creta sales grew by only 1%, with 14,662 units sold in May 2024, compared to 14,449 units in May 2023.
Maruti Suzuki Wagon R experienced an 11% decline in sales, dropping from 16,258 units in May 2023 to 14,492 units in May 2024.
Maruti Suzuki Brezza sales increased by 6%, with 14,186 units sold in May 2024, compared to 13,398 units in May 2023.
Maruti Suzuki Ertiga saw a 32% increase in sales, with 13,893 units sold in May 2024, compared to 10,528 units in May 2023.
Mahindra Scorpio (Scorpio Classic + Scorpio-N) sales increased significantly by 47%, with 13,717 units sold in May 2024.
