Step 1

Begin by cooking the rice, make sure the rice is fluffy and separated.

Step 2

In a pan, heat oil and sauté garlic, ginger, and chopped green chilies. Then add store-bought or homemade Schezwan sauce along with soy sauce and a pinch of sugar.

Step 3

Dice vegetables like bell peppers, carrots, beans, and onions into small pieces.

Step 4

Heat oil in a large pan or wok and stir-fry the chopped vegetables.

Step 5

Once the vegetables are cooked, add the cold rice to the pan. Stir well to mix the rice with the vegetables.

Step 6

Pour the prepared schezwan sauce over the rice and vegetables.

Step 7

Garnish your spicy schezwan fried rice with finely chopped spring onions and serve hot.
