Wash and slice okra; chop onions and garlic; cut meat into pieces; chop optional tomatoes.
Heat oil, cook onions and garlic until soft, then add meat and brown it. Optionally, include tomatoes.
Pour stock or water over meat; boil, then simmer until meat is tender.
Add sliced okra to the pot; stir and mix thoroughly with the meat.
Add ground crayfish, pepper, salt, and seasoning cubes; adjust to taste and mix well.
Cook on medium heat until okra is tender and the soup reaches desired thickness.
Taste, adjust seasoning if needed, and serve hot with rice, fufu, or pounded yam.
