200g fettuccine or pasta of choice, 2 tablespoons butter, 1 cup heavy cream, 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese, 2 cloves garlic (minced), Salt and pepper to taste, Fresh parsley (for garnish).
Boil water in a large pot. Add a pinch of salt and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
In a pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
Pour in the heavy cream, stirring well. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes, allowing it to thicken slightly.
Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Drain the cooked pasta and add it to the Alfredo sauce. Toss gently until the pasta is well coated.
