Benefits of Consuming Dates and Nuts

Dates and nuts are a powerhouse combo for energy! Dates provide natural sugar, and nuts give healthy fats and protein that improve brain function and boost energy.

Step 1

Soak dates in warm water for about 5 minutes. Once soft, drain the water and chop the dates into smaller pieces.

Step 2

Add the mixed nuts and seeds into a food processor. Blend until finely chopped but still keep them a bit chunky to add a nice crunch.

Step 3

In a large bowl, combine the chopped dates, blended nuts, seeds, oats, honey, and vanilla extract. Stir until everything is fully mixed together.

Step 4

Take small portions of the mixture and tightly roll them into bite-sized balls with your hands. Place the energy bites on a tray and refrigerate them for about 30 minutes to firm up.

Step 5

Coat the bites with the melted dark chocolate and chill in the refrigerator to set.

Step 6

Your no-bake energy bites are ready! Grab one for a quick snack, or store them in the fridge for up to a week.
