'Firangi' Day 1 collections: Kapil Sharma starrer off to a slow start

New Delhi: Comedian-turned-actor Kapil Sharma's Firangi finally released on December 1, 2017.

The movie is based in pre-independence era and tells the story of a boy who lands up a job in the british government.

Firangi is Kapil's second film and was much-awaited by his fans.

The movie is off to a rather slow start as it collected Rs. 2.10 Crore on day 1.

Noted film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the collections of the film.

Firangi also stars Drishyam actor Ishita Dutta. The movie is directed by Rajiev Dhingra and Kapil produced the movie himself.

Kapil made his acting debut with Abbas-Mustan’s Kis Kisko Pyar Karoon in 2015.
