Mike Tyson recovering after neck surgery

Los Angeles: Boxer-turned-actor Mike Tyson is recovering well after undergoing a neck surgery for degenerated disc, says his representative.

The boxing legend stunned onlookers Saturday, when he was seen sporting a neck brace at a Las Vegas charity auction held by the World Boxing Council and Hublot Watches. Tyson has had titanium pins inserted to support his neck as a result of an old spinal injury, which had been causing him pain. "It`s a very common surgery, especially for athletes. He feels great... just has to wear the neck brace to keep everything stable for the next three weeks," tmz.com quoted Tyson`s representative as saying. IANS
