GPAT 2018 results to be declared on February 15, 2018; check aicte-gpat.in

GPAT 2018 will be declared by AICTE on February 15 at 5 pm, as per official notification.

New Delhi: Results of Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) 2018 will be declared by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) on February 15, 2018, at 5 pm.

Candidates can check the results on the official website - aicte-gpat.in. GPAT, all-India level entrance exam, was held on January 21, 2018. 

It was a three hours exam and had a total of 125 questions of four marks each and had negative marking for the same.

The score of GPAT exams will be considered by all AICTE-approved institutions, university departments and affiliated colleges.

As per the official website, "GPAT is a national level entrance exam conducted by AICTE every year as per the directions of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD). This test facilitates institutions to select suitable pharmacy graduates for admission into the Masters (M Pharm) program. The GPAT is a three-hour computer based online test which is conducted in a single session. The GPAT score is accepted by all AICTE-approved institutions/university departments/constituent colleges/affiliated colleges. A few scholarships and other financial assistance in the field of pharmacy are also given on the basis of the GPAT score."

In order to take the exams, "The applicant must be a citizen of India and must be Bachelor’s degree holders in Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2, including lateral entry candidates)."

"Those who are in the final year of B Pharmacy course are also eligible for appearing in GPAT exam. B Tech (pharmaceutical and fine chemical technology)/equivalent’ students are not eligible to appear for GPAT examination," as per AICTE.
