Patna/New Delhi: Lashing out at Bhagwant Mann for filming security pickets inside the Parliament, the Janata Dal United (JDU) on Friday said the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP must be refrained from entering into Parliament.
Speaking to ANI, JD (U) leader Ajay Alok asked Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to reprimand Mann for his act and sought Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan`s intervention into the matter."This is madness. Nobody can be allowed to make a mockery out of Parliament and nation`s security. I want Arvind Kejriwal to personally take note of this act and question him. Lok Sabha Speaker should intervene in this matter and must ask for an explanation and until then he must be refrained from entering into the Parliament," he added.
Echoing similar sentiments, another JD (U) leader K.C. Tyagi said that instead of making the video viral Mann should have raised the issue of security lapse to the Parliamentary Committee.
"Bhagwant Mann has filmed the deficiencies in the security arrangements inside the Parliament, which is alarming.
Having said that he shouldn`t have made the video viral. Instead of making it viral, he should have shown the video to security officials or should have raised the issue to the Parliamentary Committee. The nation has been under threat from terrorists forces. This video might turn useful to them," he told ANI.
Earlier on Friday, Mann drew flak from all the political corners after a video of him shooting the Parliament check posts had emerged. However, the AAP MP while defending himself said that the purpose of the video was to showcase how Parliament functions.
