Apple may not launch iPhone SE 4; Know WHY

The most cheap Apple iPhones are the SE models. So far, the company has released three models in the series. The smartphone typically has a two-year launch cycle. The third-generation 2022 iPhone SE, which was released in March, marked the end of the line for the SE. The following iPhone SE model from Apple was anticipated in 2024.

However, according to reputable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple may decide to delay or cancel the release of the iPhone SE 4. Potential cause? He claims that it might be because shipments of midrange to entry-level iPhones, such as the iPhone SE 3, iPhone 13 mini, and the recently released iPhone 14 Plus, have been less than anticipated.

"According to my most recent study, Apple is likely to delay or abandon its intention to mass produce the iPhone SE 4 in 2024. In a tweet, Kuo states, "I believe this is as a result of the persistently lower-than-expected shipments of mid-to-low-end iPhones (e.g., SE 3, 13 mini, and 14 Plus)".

Additionally, he claims that the SE 4's full-screen design may result in greater manufacturing and selling expenses. "As a result," he argues, "Apple may need to reevaluate the SE 4's product positioning and return on investment."

Apple's fourth-generation iPhone SE was supposed to have a small display that falls between 5.7 and 6.1 inches. The A16 chip, which currently powers the highest models of the iPhone 14 series and is anticipated to power the regular iPhone 15, was most likely to power the Apple iPhone SE 4.
