Ravindra Jadeja To Kapil Dev: Indian Players With 600 Or More Wickets In International Cricket - Check In Pics

Ravindra Jadeja became the fifth Indian player to pick up 600 wickets in international cricket. He achieved this feat with the wicket of Adil Rashid in the first ODI against England in Nagpur.

Jadeja finished with figures of 3 for 26 in 9 overs in the first ODI against England. Other than Rashid, he also removed Jacob Bethell and Joe Root. 

Ravindra Jadeja has become the second Indian to score 6000 runs and take 600 wickets in international cricket after legendary Kapil Dev. Jadeja has 6641 runs, while Kapil has 9031 runs.  

Ravindra Jadeja has become the 26th cricketer to have taken 600 wickets across all three formats. He has taken 323 wickets in Tests, 223 in ODIs and 54 scalps in the T20I format as well.

Kapil Dev, who is India’s greatest all-rounder and one of the best captains. Under his captaincy, India won the 1983 ODI World Cup. Kapil played 131 tests and 225 ODIs between 1978 and 1994. He took 687 wickets in 356 international matches with 24 fifers. 

Harbhajan Singh, who was part of India’s T20 World Cup 2007 and ODI World Cup 2011 winning teams, played 103 tests, 236 ODIs and 28 T20Is from 1998 to 2016. Harbhajan has taken a total of 707 wickets in international cricket with 28 fifers and five ten-wicket match hauls. 

Ravichandran Ashwin, who retired from international cricket during the 2024-25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy, played 106 tests, 116 ODIs and 65 T20Is. Ashwin took 765 wickets for India in 287 matches.   

Legendary spinner Anil Kumble has the most wickets for India in international cricket. Kumble played 132 tests and 271 ODIs for India between 1990 and 2008 and took 953 wickets, with 37 fifers and 8 ten-wicket hauls.
