Vijay Thalapathy, also known as Joseph Vijay Chandrasekhar, is now the highest-paid actor in India. According to TOI and Filmibeat, Thalapathy Vijay has surpassed the records set by Shah Rukh Khan (Rs 250 crore) and Rajinikanth (Rs 220 crore).

Vijay was recently seen in Venkat Prabhu’s 'The Greatest of All Time', which hit theatres on September 5 and has become the highest-grossing Tamil film. On Saturday, it minted an estimated ₹13.1 crore at the start of the weekend, according to Sacnilk.

Earlier, Superstar Vijay officially unveiled the flag and symbol of his new political party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam, The event marks a significant step in his political journey, stirring excitement among his fans and followers.

'Thalapathy 69,' directed by H. Vinoth with music by Anirudh, will feature the superstar as 'The Torchbearer of Democracy.' The much-anticipated film is set to hit theaters in October 2025.
