32 To 1957: Five Seats In Haryana With Winning Margin Less Than 2,000 Votes
Haryana Election Result 2024: Defying anti-incumbency, the ruling BJP in Haryana retained power, thwarting Congress' attempt at a comeback in the assembly elections, the results of which were announced on Tuesday. After holding just six seats in 2000, two in 2005, and four in 2009, the BJP has now soared to 48 seats, marking its third consecutive victory in the state. This result surpasses its 2014 breakthrough when the party first achieved a solo majority.
Party Wise Seats
While the BJP secured 48 seats, two more than the majority mark, Congress fell short with 37 seats. The Indian National Lok Dal won two seats and independent candidates bagged three seats. However, there were five seats which witnessed a close contest with victory marging ranging from just 32 votes to 1,957 votes.
Uchana Kalan Election Result 2024
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Devender Chatar Bhuj Attri won from the Uchana Kalan Seat but the winning margin was very thin. Attri won the seat against Brijendra Singh of Congress by just 32 votes. Attri polled a total of 48,968 votes while Singh got 48,936 votes.
Dabwali Election Result 2024
Indian National Lok Dal candidate Aditya Devilal bagged the Dabwali seat by a margin of just 610 votes. Devilal defeated Congress party's Amit Sihag, JJP's Digvijay Singh Chautala and BJP's Baldev Singh Mangiana. Devilal got 56,074 votes while Sihag got 55,464 votes.
Loharu Election Result 2024
From the Loharu assembly seat, Rajbir Fartia of the Indian National Congress defeated Jai Parkash Dalal of the Bharatiya Janata Party by a margin of 792 votes. Fartia secured 81,336 votes, while Dalal received 80,544 votes.
Rohtak Election Result 2024
In the Rohtak seat, Bharat Bhushan Batra of the Indian National Congress won with 59,419 votes, defeating Manish Kumar Grover of the Bharatiya Janata Party, who secured 58,078 votes. Batra won by a margin of 1,341 votes.
Dadri Election Result 2024
From the Dadri seat, Sunil Satpal Sangwan of the Bharatiya Janata Party won with 65,568 votes, defeating Manisha Sangwan of the Indian National Congress, who received 63,611 votes. Sunil Satpal Sangwan secured victory by a margin of 1,957 votes.
Victory Of BJP Policies
Thanking voters for BJP's win, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini Tuesday said people have "put a stamp" on the government's policies under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
