UPSC Success Story: He Cleared PCS First Then Cracked Civil Services Exam To Become IAS With AIR...
The civil services exam is considered one of the toughest exam in the world. Clearing this exam is not everyone's cup of tea. Today, we are talking about Arnav Mishra, who not only cleared cleared UPPCS but also cleared UPSC two times.
Arnav Mishra, after completing engineering from IIT Jodhpur and working for some time, decided to pursue a career in civil services. Inspired by his elder sister, Arushi Mishra, an IFS officer, Arnav began preparing for the UPSC exam.
Arnav Mishra was training to become a Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) in Uttar Pradesh when he received the exciting news that he had secured an impressive All India Rank (AIR) of 56 in UPSC Civil Services Exam.
Although Arnav had cleared the UPSC CSE ealier also, however, his rank wasn't as high, resulting in an allocation to the Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Police Service (DANIPS) cadre. Additionally, he achieved a commendable 16th rank in the UP Provincial Civil Services (PCS) exam. Arnav opted to become an SDM in Uttar Pradesh instead of joining the DANIPS cadre.
After Securing AIR 56 in UPSC, Currently Arnav Mishra is working as Asst. Collector cum Magistrate, W. Singhbhum, Jharkhand.
Arnav's elder sister, Arushi Mishra, has also brought pride to their district by clearing the UPSC Civil Services Exam in 2019 with a rank of 229, as well as excelling in the Indian Forest Service and Uttar Pradesh Public Service exams. Arushi and her husband, Chirchit Gaur, are both IAS officers in the Uttar Pradesh cadre.
