During this period, Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha are both adored. Idols of the god and goddess can be purchased from the market.

Five big earthen lamps and twenty-five small earthen lamps are needed.

A fresh earthen pitcher is required to keep water.

Flowers, flower garlands, flower-covered bilva, and tulsi leaves are also necessary.

Samagri for the puja must include sweets, fruits, sugarcane, and paan.
