Harshit Rana Out; Mohammed Shami In: India's Predicted Playing XI For Champions Trophy 2025 Match Against Bangladesh

Rohit Sharma, who smashed a fantastic century during the recently-concluded ODI series against England, is all set to lead India in the Champions Trophy 2025.

Rohit gave blazing starts to India in the 2023 ODI World Cup and 2024 T20 World Cup and he would look to repeat his heroics as opener in another ICC tournament. 

Shubman Gill became the fastest batter to score 2,500 ODI runs during the recently-concluded ODI series against England. Gill, who is the vice-captain of the team, will look to continue his red-hot form as India opener in the Champions Trophy 2025.

As usual, Virat Kohli will bat at crucial No. 3 spot for India in the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025. Kohli's run can decide the fate of India's success in the tournament. 

Shreyas Iyer was in the red-hot form recently-concluded ODI series against England. His aggressive batting at No. 4 spot can change the course of the match in India's favour during the Champions Trophy 2025. 

KL Rahul will be India's first choice wicket-keeper batter in the upcoming Champions Trophy. Rahul, who is known for his versatility, is all set to play against Bangladesh on February 20 in Dubai. 

Hardik Pandya will give that crucial balance to India in the Champions Trophy with his all-round skill. Pandya’s power-hitting ability and knack of breaking partnerships will be crucial for India in the upcoming ICC tournament.  

Ravindra Jadeja gives India another all-around option. Jadeja was in good form with the ball recently-concluded ODI series against England and he will be a valuable asset for the team in the Champions Trophy.  

Axar Patel has improved his batting a lot in the last few years. He was promoted in the batting order in the ODI series against England and played a few match-winning knocks for India. Axar's spin as well as his batting will be crucial for India in the Champions Trophy 2025. 

Kuldeep Yadav will give India crucial wickets in the middle overs during the Champions Trophy 2025. Kuldeep played his first international match after surgery during the ODI series against England and he got better with each game. 

India will have to choose one between Mohammed Shami and Harshit Rana during their match against Bangladesh in Champions Trophy 2025 match in Dubai. Harshit impressed with his bowling during the middle overs but Shami has experience on his side. 

Arshdeep Singh will give that variety to the Indian bowling attack with his left-arm pace in the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025. He is lethal with both new and old balls.
