Jasprit Bumrah to Jonny Bairstow: List of BIG stars who will miss T20 World Cup 2022 - IN PICS
Jasprit Bumrah
One of the biggest misses at the T20 World Cup 2022 is going to be India's ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah. Bumrah is out for what looks like to be a very long break due to back issues. Without him, India will have their task cut out to defend small totals and find someone to bowl those yorkers in the death overs. (Source: Twitter)
Jonny Bairstow
Another star cricketer who won't feature at the T20 World Cup. Jonny Bairstow could have been a huge boost for England but they will have to make do without him now as he is out due to ankle ligament damage. He's out until at least 2023. (Source: Twitter)
Jason Roy
No injury. Jason Roy has been terribly out of form and find himself eventually out of team as well. His ouster led to comeback of Alex Hales who played 7 T20Is vs Pakistan recently and did farely well. Roy was a mainstay for England in white-ball cricket but today, he may also lose his central contract. (Source: Twitter)
Andre Russell
Another out of form player, Andre Russell could still have been a big player for West Indies at the World Cup but the selectors have moed past him. His fragile body also causes a lot of concern. (Source: Twitter)
Shimron Hetmyer
Shimron Hetmyer was part of the West Indies' T20 World Cup squad up till October 4. But then Cricket West Indies dropped him after he missed his second rescheduled flight to Australia. He has been replaced by Sharmarh Brooks. (Source: Twitter)
