As India lead the ongoing ODI series against England 2-0, they might consider resting a few players for the third and final ODI match, which will be played on February 12, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. India would look to give much-needed game time to few players and test their bench strength before the much-awaited 2025 Champions Trophy.

Yashasvi made his ODI debut for India against England on February 6, in Nagpur. However, he didn't find a place in India's playing XI in the second ODI.

Rahul is likely to replace Shreyas Iyer, who did well in the first two matches and is likely to be rested for the third ODI. Rahul's runs before the Champions Trophy would give India a massive boost.
