For LIC Housing, UTI Asset Management Committee, and Care Ratings, it recommended buy at Rs 387, Rs 870, and Rs 512. In the FMCG space, its top picks are ITC and Titan, whereas Coal India in the metal sector.

Credit growth in FY22 to be in low double-digit: Care Ratings
Bank deposits have increased by Rs 13.6 lakh crore over the previous year. The result of this on bank credit will be known after reviewing the additions in bank credit by June-end. The lower growth rate y-o-y in deposits can be partly attributed to base effect and fall in deposits rate of banks.

GDP growth may be below 9% in FY22 due to 2nd COVID-19 wave: Survey
According to the study, the majority of respondents expect the lockdown announced by several states will stay till May-end. Altogether, 54 percent of the people, who participated in the survey, believe that the lockdown is a solution to the current COVID-19 situation in the country, it said. Little more than three-fourth of the respondents feel that the current lockdown is not as stringent as the restrictions imposed last year, it added.
