CBSE Class 12 exams: At least 300 students write to CJI against offline exams

The petition sought the apex court to direct the Centre to provide an alternative assessment scheme to the students. Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal had said a decision will be taken by June 1. On April 14, the CBSE had postponed the Class XII exams in view of the COVID pandemic.

CBSE Class 12 board exams: What are the options before states?

During the high-level meeting, chaired by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, CBSE Board suggested two options – first, to hold regular exams for only the major 19 subjects at notified centres. While the second option put forward by the board is to shorten the duration of the exam – to hold 90-minute exams at the school where students are already enrolled.

CBSE class 10, 12 board examinations begin today, 28 lakh students to appear

The class 10 board examination has been reintroduced from this year after the government decided to do away with the Comprehensive and Continuous Evaluation adopted earlier.
