Mumbai crosses 1 crore COVID-19 vaccination mark, 1st district to achieve feat
A total of 1,00,41,579 vaccine doses have been administered so far to beneficiaries across all eligible age groups, the data showed So far, 91,49,489 beneficiaries have been given Covishield, while the indigenous vaccine Covaxin has been administered to 8,59,343 and Russia-made Sputnik V to 32,747 people, the figures showed.

Delhi Uni: Practical classes for final year students to resume from Sept 15
Practical classes and similar activities for final year undergraduate and postgraduate students may be allowed in the offline mode from September 15. The order has put the onus on the head of the institution to decide whether final year students are allowed to join for academic consultation and placement purposes.

COVID19: 72% say Indian vaccine safe and effective against coronavirus: Poll
The survey `Public Ki Awaaz Poll` was conducted by location-based social networking app "Public" to examine the extent of vaccine hesitancy. The poll garnered a total of 9,14,164 responses to find out the vaccine hesitancy. According to the survey, 8.8 per cent of the respondents expressed hesitation in getting vaccinated against the virus.

JNU, DU, Jamia to hold meetings to discuss resumption of physical classes
Delhi University had issued an official notification announcing that it would hold physical classes for Science stream students in view of a decline in coronavirus cases. The university had later deferred its decision, with DU registrar Vikas Gupta saying that the DDMA had not issued any guidelines on the reopening of campuses. The Delhi University was closed since March last year due to Covid but allowed final year students to return to colleges for accessing labs and take practical classes in February this year.
