IPL 2022 to have 74 matches, ten teams to play 7 home and 7 away games

Indian Premier League is set to be a 10-team affair again come 2022. Also, the mega auction for the IPL 2022 will be held later this year in December. Meanwhile, BCCI announced the following successful bidders for new IPL teams: RPSG Ventures Ltd. - Lucknow (for INR 7,090 crores) and Irelia Company Pte Ltd (CVC Capital Partners) - Ahmedabad (for INR 5,625 crores).
