Indian economy to grow at 9.2% in FY22, surpass pre-Covid level: Centre data

The improvement in the economy comes over a GDP contraction of 7.3 per cent during 2020-21. GDP in actual terms in 2021-22 will surpass the pre-Covid level of Rs 145.69 lakh crore in 2019-20.

The NSO data stated that the nation's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth stood at 5.7 percent in the corresponding quarter of 2018-19. During 2019-20, the Indian economy grew at 4.2 percent as against 6.1 percent in 2018-19.
