Champions Trophy 2025 To World Cup 2027: Biggest Assignments Of Gautam Gambhir

Indian cricket is set to begin an exciting new chapter after their historic 2024 T20 World Cup victory. On Tuesday, July 9, the BCCI confirmed Gautam Gambhir as the new head coach of the Indian cricket team. Gambhir achieved great success as the mentor of Kolkata Knight Riders, leading them to their first title in a decade in his first season back with the franchise. His coaching tenure will begin with India's tour of Sri Lanka in July 2024, and he is expected to lead the national team for 3.5 years until December 31, 2027, according to the BCCI's announcement.
