Victorian government aims for crowd for Boxing Day Test, Australian Open
There is speculation that MCG may miss out on hosting the Boxing Day Test, an annual highlight on the calendar, since Victoria is reeling under COVID-19 pandemic. With Melbourne looking a dicey venue, Adelaide is seen as the front-runner for the Boxing Day Test against India. Victoria, which is in lockdown since July, has accounted for 75 percent of cases and 90 percent of COVID deaths in the country.

ATP Cup on course, Australia plans more January tournaments: Tiley
TA Chief Executive Craig Tiley has said that the second edition of the highly successful ATP Cup remains on course for Jan 2021. TA is planning to establish five bio-security `bubbles` across Australia from early December to prepare for the Cup and the ensuing Australian Open. The inaugural edition of the 24-team international tournament was played in Jan 2020 with Serbia crowned as champions
