PM Modi to take part in two high-level debates at UNGA: TS Tirumurti
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take part in two debates in the high-level segments this year, said India`s Permanent Representative to the United Nations TS Tirumurti on Friday. The first is a general debate where PM Modi will deliver India's national statement and the other is the high-level plenary meeting to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the United Nations. The diplomat stated that in view of the COVID-19 travel restrictions, most leaders will not travel to New York and the high-level debate will be conducted virtually.
