It is expected to be implemented next year. Currently, salaries follow the 7th Pay Commission's recommendations, which have been in effect since 2016. The upcoming salary revisions will be based on the 'fitment factor,' a multiplier applied to the basic pay. Reports suggest that the 8th Pay Commission may introduce a fitment factor of 2.86.

Peons, attendants, and support staff fall under this category. Their basic pay, which was previously Rs 18,000, is expected to be revised to Rs 51,480, resulting in an increase of Rs 33,480.
Level 2
This level includes lower division clerks responsible for clerical duties. Their basic pay is likely to be raised from Rs 19,900 to Rs 56,914, marking a salary hike of Rs 37,014.
Level 3
Constables and skilled staff in the police and public services come under this category. Their basic pay, which was Rs 21,700, is expected to be increased to Rs 62,062, giving them a raise of Rs 40,362.
Level 4
This level consists of Grade D stenographers and junior clerks. Their basic pay, previously Rs 25,500, is expected to be revised to Rs 72,930, reflecting an increment of Rs 47,430.
Level 5
Senior clerks and higher-level technical staff are included in this category. Their basic salary, which was Rs 29,200, is likely to be increased to Rs 83,512, resulting in a rise of Rs 54,312.
Level 6
Inspectors and sub-inspectors fall under this level. Their basic pay is set to rise from Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,01,244, marking a significant increase of ₹65,844.
Level 7
This category includes superintendents, section officers, and assistant engineers. Their current basic pay of ₹44,900 is expected to be revised to Rs 1,28,414, reflecting an increment of Rs 83,514.
Level 8
Senior section officers and assistant audit officers are part of this level. Their basic pay, currently Rs 47,600, is likely to be raised to Rs 1,36,136, an increase of Rs 88,536.
Level 9
This level includes Deputy Superintendents of Police and accounts officers. Their existing basic pay of Rs 53,100 is expected to rise to Rs 1,51,866, providing a salary hike of Rs 98,766.
Level 10
