8th Pay Commission Hike: From Junior Clerks To Peons, What Could Be New Salaries Of Central Govt Employees At Different Job Levels?

8th Pay Commission Hike For Govt Employees: The Union Cabinet has approved the 8th Pay Commission, which will propose salary and pension revisions for central government employees. It is expected to be implemented next year. Currently, salaries follow the 7th Pay Commission's recommendations, which have been in effect since 2016. The upcoming salary revisions will be based on the 'fitment factor,' a multiplier applied to the basic pay. Reports suggest that the 8th Pay Commission may introduce a fitment factor of 2.86.
