RSS Gets Rs 150 Cr New Swanky Office In Delhi - 3.75 Acres, 12-Story, 300 Rooms: Check Who Funded The Luxury Building

The new RSS headquarters is more than just an office—it's a fortress of influence. The three towers, named Sadhana, Prerna, and Archana, house offices, residential quarters, and conference spaces. The Sadhana Tower serves as the primary administrative hub, while Prerna and Archana Towers provide residential facilities. The complex is secured by central security forces, emphasizing its importance.

Designed by Gujarat-based architect Anup Dave, the headquarters reflects traditional Indian architecture with modern innovations. Inspired by Rajasthani and Gujarati carvings, the building features 1,000 intricately designed granite window frames to reduce wood usage. The rooftop solar panels supply 20% of the building’s electricity, and a sewage treatment plant ensures eco-friendly waste management.

The headquarters boasts three advanced auditoriums with a combined capacity of 1,300 people. One of them is named after Ashok Singhal, the former VHP president and a key figure in the Ram Janmabhoomi movement. The complex also includes a five-bed hospital, a dispensary, and a large dining hall that can accommodate over 100 people at a time.

At the heart of the complex is a lush green lawn, where a statue of RSS founder Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar stands. This space is designated for daily RSS shakhas (morning assemblies) and organizational events. The expansive open area between Prerna and Archana Towers serves as a communal gathering space for meetings and cultural activities.

The RSS has had a presence in Delhi since 1939, with its first office near the current headquarters. A single-storey office was built in 1962, expanded in the 1980s, and eventually replaced by this new sprawling complex. Before moving to the new building, the RSS operated from the Udasin Ashram, which was rented for over eight years.

A key highlight of the headquarters is the Keshav Library, located on the 10th floor of Sadhana Tower. Designed for research and ideological study, it offers dedicated research rooms and a vast collection covering diverse philosophies, including Hindu, Buddhist, Sikh, Islamic, and Christian studies. This space will be open to scholars studying the RSS and its ideological landscape.

With its strategic location, advanced infrastructure, and historical significance, Keshav Kunj is set to become the powerhouse of RSS operations in the national capital. It surpasses the BJP headquarters on Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg in size and stature, reflecting the Sangh’s growing influence in national affairs. The headquarters will play a pivotal role in shaping the ideological, strategic, and operational direction of the RSS in the coming decades.

This modern yet traditionally inspired complex symbolizes the RSS’s expanding footprint in India’s socio-political landscape, blending history, ideology, and infrastructure into a monument of influence.
