দু`দিন আগেই নিউইয়ারে উৎসবে মাতল কোপাকাবানা বিচ

হাতে আর মাত্র দুদিন। পুরনোকে বিদায় জানিয়ে নতুন বছরের উৎসবে মাততে তৈরি গোটা বিশ্ব। ব্রাজিলের কোপাকাবানা বিচে উৎসব শুরু হয়ে গিয়েছে বেশ কয়েকদিন আগে থেকেই। নাচ, গান আর প্রার্থনায় সাগরপাড়ের চেহারাই এখন অন্য রকম।

ব্রাজিলে কোপাকাভানা বিচে নতুন বছরের উৎসব একটু অন্যরকম। পুরনো বছর বিদায় নেওয়ার কয়েকদিন আগে থেকেই শুরু হয়ে গিয়েছে উৎসব। সমুদ্রের দেবী ইয়েমানজার পুজার্চনায় মেতেছেন বাসিন্দারা। উৎসব চলবে নতুন বছর শুরু পর্যন্ত। নাচ, গান আর হইহুল্লোড়ে গোটা সমুদ্রতটের এখন এক অন্য চেহারা। ছোট ছোট নৌকা তৈরি করে তাতে ফল ভোগ দিয়ে ভাসিয়ে দেওয়া হচ্ছে সমুদ্রদেবীর উদ্দেশ্যে। ব্রাজিলের উতসব আর তাতে সাম্বা নাচ থাকবে না তা হয় নাকি! সমুদ্রপাড়ের বাসিন্দাদের বিশ্বাস, দেবীকে তুষ্ট করতে পারলে মিলবে সারা বছর সুখে থাকার আশির্বাদ ।
